Terms of Service & EULA

By accessing or using MarkYourBible (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and MarkYourBible.

MarkYourBible grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial Bible study. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, nor reverse-engineer or attempt to extract its source code, except where permitted by law.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Account page inside the app.

The Service lets you post community discussions, comments, insights, prayer requests, study-room messages, and reviews. You retain ownership of the content you create, but you grant MarkYourBible a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to share it.

You may not post content that infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property right. Do not upload copyrighted images, music, or text without permission, and do not impersonate other people, brands, or applications. Scripture quotations are drawn from public-domain and freely licensed translations.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. While MarkYourBible strives for accuracy in study content and AI-assisted tools, we do not guarantee that all information is free from error. The Service is a study aid and is not a substitute for pastoral or professional counsel.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MarkYourBible and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or content.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, without notice, if you violate these terms or the community guidelines below. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

We may revise these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
